Calix Decorated ZnO Nanohybrid Material Based Smart Portable Electrochemical Device for On-Site Analysis of Diethylchlorophosphate

This research is focused on detecting extremely toxic chemical warfare agents (CWAs), using a smart portable electrochemical device (SPED) designed for on-site quantification of diethylchlorophosphate (DCP). The calixarene-modified zinc oxide nanohybrid material was used to fabricate the device and characterize it by using various physical and chemical techniques. The study aimed to address the urgent need for sensitive, selective, and convenient CWA detection techniques, crucial for national security and public safety.

Geometric Transformation of Modified Multiwalled Carbon Nanotubes-Based Heterometallic Nanostructured Material: A Model for the Electrochemical Discrimination of Insecticides

The paper presents several significant findings. It discusses the synthesis of novel heterometallic nanostructured material (KR 6/Mn/Sn/Pb) and their use in detection of three different highly toxic insecticides. This application can aid in enhancing environmental sustainability, ensuring food safety, and safeguarding ecosystems from the harmful effects of pesticide contamination.
